Lesson 1 - First Years Empty Lesson 1 - First Years

Post by Sienna Marshall Sun Dec 18, 2011 8:09 pm

Sienna walked into her class ready to start teaching another group of kids. She hoped that this time they would be eager to learn and that they would also get it right. She charmed her quill to mark of the students name as they walked in seeing as she couldn't do it.

Lesson 1 - First Years Empty Re: Lesson 1 - First Years

Tasha was sitting in the front, like a good girl she was, happy to start learning something that sounded both complicated and awesomely interesting in the same time.

Lesson 1 - First Years Empty Re: Lesson 1 - First Years

Anadora spotted Iris sitting on her own, and she didn't really want to sit with Tasha as she was sitting in the front row and she was freaking out at the sight of her new teacher.
Nevertheless, before sitting down, she greeted Miss Marschall. Creepy indeed her eyes were... But for a wolf, it wasn't that disturbing...

Lesson 1 - First Years Empty Re: Lesson 1 - First Years

Post by Clementine Smith Mon Jan 23, 2012 3:18 pm

Clementine ducked through the door, and raced to a seat at the back, before hiding her face behind her hair, the last thing she wanted was a bad reputation, especially on her first day.

She glanced up, was glad to see that the lesson hadn't yet started.

Twiddling her eagle-owl quill between her fingers, Clementine rested her head on her other hand and waited as patiently as she could.

Lesson 1 - First Years Empty Re: Lesson 1 - First Years

Anadora heard Clementine silently coming in the room and hiding her face behind her hair,, so she sent her a flying note to tell her not to worry, they were the first students to arrive, and still they were late.
After that, she turned back to her teacher and grinned like a baby girl, thinking about a way of cursing the first boy she would see in order to be fair with her reputation.

Lesson 1 - First Years Empty Re: Lesson 1 - First Years

Clementine blinked when she saw the note flying towards her. It was unusual for people to pay attention to her. But then, as she read it, she wasn't the most confident, and people would undoubtably notice that.

She looked at the girl who sent it, and silently said 'Thanks,', not overly knowing if it would still work without direct eye contact.

Then, she went to admiring the crookedness of her wand.

Clementine started getting worried after a while. Where had the rest of the students gone? There couldn't just be four for a class especially Transfiguration... As far as Clementine was concerned, it was the most important lesson.

I sighed when I noticed Clementine was starting to look worried. I sent another flying note towards her. "I swear, all of them, when I get a grip on one of the students' list, I curse them! Twisted Evil " And I enchanted the smiley so that it would really move.

Clementine raised her eyebrows. A smiley? The last time she saw one of those was in a muggle computer-thing.

She sent a note back saying 'Where do you think they are? Lazing around in the Common Rooms?'

After a moment of thought, she sent another, saying 'And, how do you enchant smileys?'

"Smiles (pronounce it "Smilès") Locomotor. That's one of my mum's." Then I looked back towards the door. "I don't know, but that's not the first lesson where there's not much of us. Apart from Iris of course..." I smiled writing it. If my aunt's eagle eyes fell on this, I'd be in trouble. Not with her, with Grandma.

Lesson 1 - First Years Empty Re: Lesson 1 - First Years

"Yeahn right, there weren't a lack of first years when I got sorted. They told me I wouldn't feel alone, that there were bunches of new students arriving. I wonder if they didn't get lost on their way." Then I thought of something less pleasant. Or the Dark Lord has killed them before they reached New-York.

'How many are there... I remember looking at the student list... there are...'

"Clementine, you know this!" she muttered to herself.

'19! That's it! There are 19 first years! I've only seen about five of them around, though...'

"Wow! Merlin blesses your memory Clementine! I wish mine was as good as yours!" I smiled to her as I decided to walk towards her rather than sending her notes. "Who have you seen then? I've seen Iris, Tasha, Alex, Darcie and you, that's all. You've seen anyone else?"

"I've seen pretty much the same..." she shrugged, "Maybe nobody wants to get up in the morning..."
