The aftermath after the fall of the Dark Lord

The American Wizarding Government had been silent in both wars, not getting into the affairs the Dark Side and Light side of Europe. But then again, the Magical American Government never did like getting into affairs that didn't affect them.
After Voldemort's fall, loyal Death Eaters still wanted to fight. They knew fighting in Britian will be helpless, so they decided to attack New York City. A place where the American Government capitol is held, and the magical school holding gifted witches and wizards.
They start making attacks at the unexpected muggles and magical beings that live in NYC. Auror's fight back, and Oblivators struggle to keep up with obliviating muggles from what they don't need to know.
As the fighting continues, students and teachers continue their life in Alecto, doing what they have done for a long time. But even that, may be destroyed someday.
Who will win the war? Who will die? Who will loose?
