Battle of Hogwarts (non Final version)

Part 1:

It was a sunny, normal day, well as normal as it could get when in war. May second 1998, a date that shall be remembered for generations, and a story that will be retold from grandparents to grandchildren, parents to their kids, the famous battle of Hogwarts that left the world in a state of horror, now unfinished, terrible, with too many casualties to count, but that would never be forgotten.
After the Trio entered Hogwarts, these cold, scary words echoed through Hogwarts, frightening both students and professors in it:

"I know that you are preparing to fight. Your efforts are futile. You cannot fight me. I do not want to kill you. I have great respect for the teachers of Hogwarts. I do not want to spill magical blood. Give me Harry Potter, and they shall not be harmed. Give me Harry Potter and I shall leave the school untouched. Give me Harry Potter and you will be rewarded. You have until midnight."

Everything was going as planned, until Harry failed to find the lost diadem of Rowena Ravenclaw. He stood no chance against Voldemort, and when he was given an opportunity to come back to life, he refused it, realizing that it would be much more painful for him to see his friend getting killed because of his unsuccessful attempt.

Most of the canon positive charries died in the battle, except for Fleur and Bill, Aberforth and Hermione that escaped as one group, and Cho Chang, Michael Corner, Seamus Finnigan and Dean Thomas as the other, with Neville and Luna being kept in the dungeons, and Charlie Weasley who has an unknown fate.

Part 2:

With Harry remaining in the Other World, the Elder Wand now has no master and intends to seek for a worthy wizard or witch to share its power with. Voldemort senses that the Wand's allegiance does not lay with him and after conferring with his Death Eaters, he concludes in order to truly conquer the Deathly Hallows he must have all rights to the Elder Wand. The only option is to allow the Wand to find the wizard or witch that shall be deserving- and for Voldemort to destroy whoever that may be.

Voldemort allows the Wand to hunt for the Chosen One by placing it in the hands of Centaurs- who have no use of the Wand but respect its power.

Rumour has spread that day by day, the Elder Wand travels closer to New York's Underground Tunnels, towards the school for the magically gifted- Alecto.
