I wish I may (Open)

Elliot wandered through the room, pulling faces - and primping slightly - at each of the mirrors. Enjoying the way his face reflected and distorted from one mirror to the next.

As he reached the middle, he stopped and stared at the fountain. In his hand he fingered a coin. They said that the fountain granted wishes, and Elliot was always up for testing something like that.

The only problem was he didn't know what to wish for.

Kristie was sitting on the edge of the fountain, practising her singing. She preferred to be alone when she sung as she was very insecure about it. She heard footsteps and quickly stopped singing. She walked around the fountain and saw a boy holding a coin. "Are you going to make a wish or are just going to stare at your own reflection in the water all day?" she joked.

"But my reflection is just so pretty," he responded easily with a wide smirk telling anyone that he was joking.

He flipped the coin in his hand a couple of times, "I would wish... only I don't know what for. Maybe I should give the old World Peace a try."

Kristie scoffed. "World peace? Everyone wishes for world peace and what do we get? World war. Sometimes it's better to be selfish." Kristie pulled out a coin from her pocket and chucked it in. "There. Made my wish."

[Elliot Hudson]

Elliot pretened to be offended.

"No thought put into it at all. That is poor wishing form. You couldn't have just devistated us all with an illplaced wish."

He ruined his illusion by laughing once he was finished.

Kristie let a out a small chuckle. "I doubt my wish will have any effects on the human race." she paused. "Then again... Anyway, you should wish for something that will benefit you in the long term. You never know if your wish will come true, but if does you'd better make it something good."

"Something good eh?" Elliot quirked an eyebrow at her, "Okay."

He made an elaberate show of thinking.

"Got it!" Smikring he flipped his coin into the fountain with a satisfying plop.

[Kristie Valentine]

"That quick?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "Well I suppose I didn't take long either."

She leaned over the edge of the fountain and peered into the clear water. She watched as all the many coins glistened at the bottom. "Don't you think after all these years the fountain would have filled up? Someone must have to empty it." Kristie said, half thinking aloud.
