Biography: Harriot was born in Canada, then lived in an orphanage because her mother died having her and her father couldn't afford to keep her. They still keep in touch, but because he worked in NYC, well.
When she was four, she was moved to an orphanage where the kids parents were just about all in prison. One of the parents came trying to get his child, and in the process, sent her to hospital with a long, deep cut going down right from her left shoulder to her right hip. It was so bad her father got called in and by then he had what a normal man would own. He took her to live with him in NYC and she's been with him ever since, living in his flat.
When she was nine her father adopted a little girl called Maizey, and Harriot became her protecter, as she was only three at the time.
When she turned eleven, she got her letter, her father then explained that her mother had been a witch.
