With one hand in her pocket, Staz opened up a book with her other hand. Her eyes skimmed the page as she flicked through it, taking her hand out of her pocket only to turn the page. She had already read this particular book, but she found herself going back to it again and again. She wouldn't say it was her favorite, oh no, but it was just one of those interesting page turners she couldn't put down.

Sighing to herself, she leaned her left shoulder against a wall and peered down at the pages again. The words blurred together in nonsense as Staz rubbed at her eyes to clear them. Merlin, she was tired. Shaking her head, she replaced the book on the shelf before searching for a new one. She had to have some new material to read, after all.

Darcie peered into each of the aisles with curious eyes and a happy smile. The library was one of her absolute favorite places in the world. Well, of the parts of the world that she's seen at least. Darcie didn't have a particular book in mind. Anything would've done, though Darcie always had a soft spot for fiction. Mayhaps there will be some ghost stories? Darcie thought optimistically.

Darcie looked down an aisle that happened to have someone in it and quickly looked away. Despite what many of her friends told her, she was not quite over her shyness and fear of new people yet. She looks older than me! I can't talk to her! Ohhh...but maybe she knows a good book for me to read... Darcie pondered the situation. Taking a silent and deep shaky breath, Darcie slowly walked into the aisle and stopped about a meter away from the girl where she then started observing book titles. "Umm...hi," Darcie said quietly. "Do you know any of any good books here?" Darcie braced herself for the girl's response.
