"Yep, Vox." Clementine nodded, "If you think I don't belong, I don't blame you, I don't think I belong anywhere... I have multiple personalities..."

"No, that's not about that at all." I giggled. "In fact, I've settled in a room, but no one seems to be interested in sharing with me, can't blame them though. Can I change room and settle down in yours?" I lowered my voice as I asked. I didn't want to seem bad.

"Yeah, of course! I could do with a bit of company, after all... Other than Shadow, that is..." she said before hastily adding "My pet bat, not seen that much..."

"Me too ever since I saw Sonic! I used to watch him on the telly all the time! But I'm happy with my rabbit Clovis. Do you have a pet, Alex?"

"Oh I'm sure he's not that bad!" Darcie said with a laugh. Maybe Alex just isn't that good...well I shouldn't judge. "Maybe we could all take our pets out to play at a park or something. Or maybe the forest of thought since its closer."

"I've took Shads there once or twice... He doesn't like it much but it's good for him..." Clementine shrugged.

"Oh hush," Darcie said giving Alex a playful push and a smile. "I'd almost be willing to bet that you wish you were bitten by a vampire."

Darcie's eye widened in surprise. She briefly considered checking Clementine's teeth to see if she were a vampire. She certainly was pale enough...but Darcie decided against such a rash act. She would have to sit next to her for lunch just to make absolutely sure. "Did you notice any big changes in yourself after that...?"

Clementine almost snorted with laughter, but that was very un-Clementine-like.

"Not as far as I'm concerned." she mentally debated something for a moment, and then added "A couple of my teeth look like fangs from a certain prospective, but I've had that for as long as I can remember."

She frowned.

"I've had Shadow for as long as I can remember. After he bit me, he got used to me and now I'm the only person- no, thing- he listens to. Obviously found out that biting people is not polite." she added with sarcasm.

Darcie smiled friendly. "Well it's good. Now he has a friend and so do you. And he also knows that harming others via his teeth is bad," Darcie added with an almost completely serious voice, which made what she said seem absolutely mad. Darcie had a habit of doing this since she did not have a good grip on sarcasm. Besides that, she saw no need for it.

Clementine smiled at her desk.

"I never had any friends, really. I've always been a loner, thar's why I'm not really used to people now..."

Darcie gasped lowly and smiled a small smile. "I know how that feels. Being alone, I mean. I'm not exactly used to talking to people, but I think having friends helps," Darcie said lowly, but truly. She looked down then back up at Clementine and asked her, "Would you mind if we were friends?"

Clementine suddenly became abnormally interested in her shoes.
