Chit-chat with Darcie
I silently pulles Darcie towards the statue I had seen not so long ago, standing there, in the graveyard, surrounded by graves hosting people who didn't belong in there.
I felt bad at once for pushin her to come, I was afraid she might feel sad and start crying, but I was sure this was the right thing to do.
"Over here. Watch your feet, there's a awful lot of people around here." My whisper seemed to be shushed by the wind.
And there we were. The stone was alone. No one wanted to see it, or touch it. I let my finger wander on my parents' names, then searched absentedly for Darcie's family.
"Can you see them anywhere?"

Re: Chit-chat with Darcie
I scanned the stone for my parents. I hadn't found them the first time I looked and had started panicing. When I didn't find them the second time, tears started to fall, though I had seen this coming. Just to make absolutely sure, I checked the stone carefully a third time and right when I was ready to give up I saw them.
"They're here, at the bottom. Amabelle and Damian Linwood," I said half laughing half crying as I put my finger on their name. I felt a strange sense of peace come over me. Closure, mayhaps? I doubted it. My mind floated to how they died.
"It's okay mom, dad. You...you did ok. I'll finish this for you."

I let Darcie whisper to her parents. I knew what it felt like, seeing their names. They were real. They had lived and died for what they believed in. They had died for us to live. I put an arm around her shoulders and started sobbing silently. "We're here. You haven't died in vain. We're here."

I shook silently with small sobs escaping me. I put my arms around Ana and let her cry, too. It was almost strange. I had never cried in front of someone else before, let alone have someone else cry with me. I smiled a real smile. What was wrong with me? Here was one of the saddest moments of my existence and yet it was also the happiest. It was such a juxtaposition that I shook my head and looked back at the stone.
"So, where are your parents?" I managed to say through my sobs.

I wiped my tears away with my sweatshirt's sleeve and put a finger on their names. "Here. All of them. My Dad," I pointed his name, "My Mum, my stepfather, and my godfather." Then I shrugged. "Only my grandfather's missing. Wait a sec'." I waved my wand, didn't know how to do it but hey, I was a Black! Suddenly, small letters appeared at the end of the list. "Theodore Tonks. That's better." I touched the name with my bare finger. "Grandma'll be happy he's here."

I ismiled when Ana pointed to her dad."Our dads knew each other! Maybe my mom knew him too; she was a surpr and a friend of 'Mad Eye' Moody," I said pointing to 'Mad Eye's' name. I breathed in deeply and sighed a soft sigh.

I smiled a little. "'Mione used to tell me Mad-Eye was a Hell of an Auror. No one else but Him could have killed him, he was too tough to die."

Darcie laughed a little. She was feeling a lot better than she was about a half hour ago. "I kind of want to meet Hermione. She sounds like a very nice and smart person. Your brother sounds like a lot of fun, too. Maybe someday when its safe, we can all meet together and have tea or whatever it is you British people drink," Darcie said, trying to make a joke at the end. She had meant what she said about meeting Hermione and Ted, though she wasn't entirely sure the next time it would be safe.

I smiled widely. "It's not like you Irish and us Brits can't get along, Miss Linwood." I giggled. "It doesn't need to be safe for you to meet them. Wait until we have some holidays. You can come along at my Grandma's. She'd love it! And Teddy sure will too. I'm sure he won't stop turning his hair blonde when he sees you."

Darcie laughed at the thought of someone turning his hair blonde. "I would like that very much; mayhaps we could do something for the winter holiday. Maybe I could teach you and Ted about soccer if it's not too cold!"

"Teddy doesn't mind the cold. I've seen him running around when it was freezing back home. He was giggling like a baby when he got back and his hair was full of iceicles."

I laughed and breathed in deeply. "Still, a person's body can only stand oh so much, even if the mind thinks it's invincible. We'll need to come in eventually so as to not get frostbite. Tea," I said giggling, "or coffee or hot chocolate would be perfect to drink on a cold winters day. Or...maybe not. I'm not sure if it gets as cold here as it does in Dublin."

"I can't stand the cold...much. Probably my wolf side who hates the mountains or something. That doesn't make any sense, though." I kicked a rock. "Anyway, talking about this, should we head to the Coffee bar?" I grinned.

I smiled widely. "That's a brilliant idea! I know exactly what I want to get; some nice mocha coffee with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles. Wait! No! I would like coffee with gingerbread cream and extra chocolate. Noooo! I- I'll decide when we get there." I grinned and stood up while offering Ana a hand. "Shall we depart?"

"We shall, darling." I let her drive me this time. If I wasn't mistaken, Darcie was gaining confidence over the days. It was a good thing.
