Alex said nothing, but instead just got up and walked out the door. If these people didn't want him he'd find some other group.

Clementine blinked "What...?" Then she banged her head on a table. She couldn't recognise what she had said wrong but, apparently, she had at one point.

I narrowed my eyes and followed Alex to the door. Then I turned to Clem. "Well, I think he got us. Now we'll feel obliged to run after him and tell him we like him. Duh." I made a disgusted noise. "But maybe we've gone a little bit too far, no?"

I didn't do anything but hit my head against the table again. Obviously- If I do anything now I'll just make matters worse.

"I don't think so." I interfered. "I've seen my brother Fynn do it numerous times. He'd play the sad rejected one for several minutes and wait for us to go and apologize, and then he'd put up his smile and be the same annoying little brat he's always been." I chuckled at the thought. "I miss him." I then admitted. I might need to write them an owl one day or another.

I lifted my head up and looked at Emie and Anadora dejectedly. "I shouldn't have said it in the first place. Even if it was true.... But anyway, what did I do wrong? I get in arguments with him quite often, and that's never happened."

I walked to the door and peeked outside. "Oi, honeylovemooneydarling? Come back, Clem wants to ask you to marry her!"
And then I turned to Clem. "Just trust me on this one."

Alex groaned, "Piss off Ana. And stop the fighting will ya?" He said dawdling back into the room but making sure to get as far away from Clem as he could.

Clementine held her head half us saying in one breath "I'm-so-sorry-I-didn't-mean-to-offend-you-in-any-way-shape-or-form-I-was-just-trying-to-say-that-the-world's-not-full-of-girls-and... I'm out of breath..." her head slumped back onto the table/
