"Wait a minute! You look familiar......" Zoya cut in, inspecting the girl closely. She could feel a spark of recognition and she wanted to know how. "Hey! Aren't you that girl from Nate's apartment? The one he tried to hide?" She asked suddenly, her posture straightening and her eyes sparkling with recognition.

"I still don't get why he gets to decide stuff from my life!" Zoya muttered in a dissatisfied voice, fidgeting with her hands as she looked at all the children going crazy in the park. "So I must know you from before? How?"

Nebrexus was trying to find the right words to say to her. "We went to school together, Nate, you, and I were best friends. When we graduated we went different ways. I came back to see you and Nate and that's when Nate told me what happened with you" Nebrexus sighed.

"But I thought you were an auror too! So what 'different' ways? And clearly, Nate and I have obviously been living in the same city! Or maybe not! Maybe that's why he lives in a hotel." Zoya question in a confused voice. She knew that Nate and she had been best friends, but about Nebrexus, she had had no idea.

"I am an Auror, when we were growing up Nate's, yours and my dreams were all the same. We would become Auror's together and fight evil side by side and live in the same city. When we graduated I had to go home because of my father and brother. They killed my mom and sister so I wanted revenge. So after there funerals I came back and Nate told me what happened to you. No we all live in the same city Zoya" Nebrexus said with a small smile.

"I am sure you expect me to be really sad, but since I don't know you that well, let's just keep things a 'I am sorry, and I swear we'l kill them together?'" Zoya asked, feeling sad and really wanting to cheer the girl up. "So what say, why don't we leave depressing talks that have a way of giving me head aches, and think of something to do in this place!"

Nebrexus smiled. That was how the old Zoya talked and that talk always made her smile. "Sure now I say we team up and throw snowballs again, what do you say" Nebrexus smiled at Zoya.

"Works for me!" Zoya replied, mirroring the smile Nebrexus gave her, albeit a bit unsurely. She felt that she was getting better at pretending to be someone who she wasn't sure she was. "Let's start!" She added brightly, shaking her head and bending down to scoop up some snow.

Nebrexus smiled and crouched down on the ground to make snow balls. When she was successfully done her first she saw a kid playing in the snow and threw her snow ball at him.

Zoya smirked as Nebrexus' snowball hit on target and she too carefully chose her target, a thirty something mother who was fixing her lipstick in her compact mirror. She made a face at the lady, and threw the snowball square at her face, smirking when it hit target.

Nebrexus laughed when Zoya hit the lady with the snow ball and the woman messed up her lip stick and it was now all over her chin and under her nose. Nebrexus made another snow ball and looked for someone to hit. Nebrexus's eyes landed on a couple kissing and Nebrexus threw it and it hit them in the face.

"Wow you are cruel, Nexxie." Zoya commented, patting Nebrexus lightly on the back, an impressed expression on her face. She bit her lip as she realized what she had called the girl and instead an apologetic expression came over her face, "I hope you don't mind me calling you that. After all, Nebrexus is a long name."

Nebrexus laughed a little at the comment. "Nah I don't mind, I either get called Rexxy, Rexy, Brex ect. but never Nexxie" Nebrexus smiled at Zoya.

"No offense, but most of your nicknames sound like the ones for a T-Rex! Nexxie, is sooooo much better." Zoya decided, bending down and scooping some snow to make more balls. Narrowing her eyes, she looked around, trying to find a victim. "There." She called out happily, before throwing a carefully aimed snowball at some branches covered with snow. Her theory had been right, due to the force of the snow ball, the entire load of snow got dislodged from the tree's branches and covered all the people sitting beneath it.

Nebrexus laughed at her comment. "Yeah I no but it is better then people calling me a death eaters daughter" Nebrexus sighed at that. Nebrexus remembered when she signed up to be an Auror they were debating whether not to let her be one. They had to give her a truth potion to make sure she was serious. Nebrexus watched at Zoya hit a tree with a snow ball and the snow on the tree fell onto people. Nebrexus couldn't control her laughter any more.

"Damn Zoya that was classic" Nebrexus laughed. Nebrexus then got an idea and made a snow ball. Nebrexus threw the snow ball and it hit 2 squirrels trying to get it on and watched as they pulled apart. Nebrexus smiled at that. She loved herself.

"Chill." Zoya insisted, shaping another snow ball and scouting for someone to hit with it. She burst out laughing when she saw who Nexxie had targeted, or rather what. "Definitely not child friendly." She added pointing to the two squirrels who where back on it.

Nebrexus looked at the squirrels and laughed. "They must really love each other if they keep going at it" Nebrexus commented. "So who is your next target" Nebrexus asked.

"Still looking for one!" Zoya replied, shrugging and looking around. "Him!" She decided, pointing towards a cute guy giving a rose to a girl. Smirking, she threw the ball at him and laughed at his surprised expression.

Nebrexus had to admit he was hot. When Zoya threw the snow ball Nebrexus started laughing. "Did you see his face" Nebrexus asked between laughs. "Awe that was priceless" Nebrexus smiled. Nebrexus bent down and made a snow ball. Nebrexus looked for a target.
