"I wish I had a brother", the girl said sadly. "If I had anyone, I would treasure and cherish that person, and so should you... What's your name?", and then smiled, "Zander's sister."

"Oh alright, I love him dearly" Alexandria replied before adding "well I did just say. But I shall repeat myself - my name is Alexandria, you can give me a nickname if you want, everyone else does. Though nothing weird because I have had my share of creepy nicknames. Mostly curtsey of my brothers ... did you listen to anything I just said? How much am I repeating here?"

"Oh I'm sorry, I got distracted by your brother so I didn't even notice", she said and then tried to fix that. "I mean he doesn't distract me, he's not attractive to me or anything, I mean he is, you are Zander, I mean, you are not...Let me try again."
Tasha Bryan deeply blushed. "It distracted me when the book hit him. Can I call you Lexie?", she smoothly changed the topic. "Lexie it is. I am listening, uuu, look a mouse, oh wait that's just dust."

Alexa laughed and shaking her head replied "its alright. You do not have to explain how distracting my brother is as I am pretty sure I do not want to know. I was just saying how it is clear we are going to be good friends. Lexie? That is a new one. I think I like it. Yes its very cute. I shall live with that. Certainly my best offer so much. What is your name? I think I missed it. So what do you like to do when not staring at my brother?"

"Alex..." Zander places a hand on her shoulder. This usually sobered her down. he was mostly listening to their conversation as he flipped through the book the hit him earlier and he somehow realized she was getting out of hand again. He even looked a little sheepish as he turned to Bryan, turning away.

Alex pouted when Zander insisted she relax. But she did calm down. Then, very calmly, replied "that is a pretty name. But it is short. You do not need a nickname. So I won't try and make one up. Unless you want one, do you want one?" Okay, she could not stay calm for long.

"Brye," Zander said. He didn't mean to say it out loud but the thought slipped through his lips.

His taut expression relaxed when Alex relaxed and he even flashed her a small smile before he looked back down at his book which was something about Muggle devices. He knew these well. He lived through all this.

"Bryan is actually a nickname." Zander pointed out without lifting his head. He was bored, they were noisy and the librarian was shooting him looks cause she thought Zander was the one orchestrating it all. He stood up, pushing the chair in the process and he caught it before it could crash and make a noise.

"I'm heading home. Alex, cut the girl some slack." He called out over his shoulder as he passed them. He smiled at the librarian and she shook her head as he disappeared through the glass doors.

You could hear the librarian muttering something about troublemakers.

She was a wee bit disappointed that Zander is going to leave them and she just waved stupidly at him and yelled 'bye'. Looking at his sister, she tried to hide the fact she already has an eye on her brother. She hasn't even gotten over Elliot, and she was just a little kid, used on crushing on guys that don't even notice her.

"Yes Lexie, cut the girl... I mean me, some slack", she said awkwardly, smiling as if she made the best joke ever.

"He does not like it when I talk too much, he thinks people get bored. He thinks that other people do not like it. But using more than three words in a sentence seems to be his idea of talking too much. Therefore it seems I should just not talk at all and sit here looking cutely broody ... its rediculas" Alex declared with a roll of her eyes and a shrug.

"It is the truth", Tasha replied, nodding her head and looking away. She remembered Elliot and that day when he almost saved her and she remembered that she liked almost every guy she had met since the start of the year.

I wonder if I'm going to be like this when I grow up, she thought, a picture of a nunnery appearing in front of her eyes.

"Well I am not sure. She is not my real mum. She only just adopted me. I had only been in the house a short while before we came off to Hogwarts. My brother's aren't my real brothers either. My real family did not want me because of my sickness ..." Alexandria chatted away unaware she was probably sharing too much information "but from the short time I have been there she seems nice ..."
