Re: Where is everything? (Dillon/Harvey)
"Well that is one way to do it ..." Harvey began before trailing off and nodding when she picked up the snitch "I guess only the owner can open it. Unless we can find a spell. You know there might be books in here somewhere, it has everything else."

Dillon stared at the snitch for a while. "Okay, if you look for a spell, I'll try and bash it open." she said, clutching the snitch in her hand before using all her might to throw it against the door. She walked over to check it. Not even a dent. She fumbled around in old boxes. She found a box of old kitchen-ware and pulled out a slightly rusty knife. "They really shouldn't leave this stuff lying around. She took the knife and started attacking the snitch with it. She managed to inflict a few scratches, but that was all.

"look! I found something" Harvey excitedly announced form the corner where he had found himself. Book in hand he hurried over to Dillon and showed her the page "see ... apparently this spell has worked in some cases, to trick the flesh memory, so I suppose its worth a shot!"

Dillon threw the knife back into the box and handed the snitch to Harvey. "It's worth a shot." She leant against the door and rested her eyes for a moment.

Harvey shot a warm smile at her, he was glad he had met her, and then turned back to the task of trying the spell. Sticking his tongue out the corner of his mouth and concentrating he mumbled the correct charm. The snitch seemed to glow a funny colour and then go back to normal "do you think it worked?"

Dillon walked over and looked at it. "Well it looked like it did something. Whether or not it's the effect we were hoping for I'm sure. Only one way to find out!" Dillon smiled enthusiastically.

"You wanna kiss the nice golden ball, or shall I?" Harvey replied in a half hearted attempt at a joke.

Dillon chuckled slightly. "You can do the honours." she smiled brushing her hair behind her ear. She felt the excitement building up in the pit of her stomach as she wondered what could be inside...

Harvey closed his eyes to build the excitement and bringing the ball up brushed his lips against it, he then brought it back down and asked, with his eyes closed "did it work?"

Dillon tilted her head and grinned. "Surprisingly, yes." She looked at the small silver key sitting just inside. "What do you think this key unlocks?" she asked, feeling thee sense of adventure return to her and completely forgetting about the fact that they were still locked in.

"Ironic if it opened the main door" Harvey suggested with a shrug as he looked around, wondering what on earth it could be.

Dillon shook her head, a half grin playing across her lips. "I doubt it would." she looked around the room. "Could be a filing cabinet? Could be something even cooler. I guess we'l just have to try anything we can find." Hey eyes scanned the room again. She had a feeling they were missing something, but she shook it off.

"I am hoping for something cool ... like that!" Harvey announced the last part of his sentence in a sudden excited tone. He was pointing one figurine at a large statue of a dragon that rested in the corner and had a small key hole in the middle of its chest.

"That looks promising!" Dillon said beaming. She walked over to it, stepping aver and around boxes and piles of files. She examined the statue. "It looks like it has a small door on the front. Why don't you come and unlock it?"

"Okay" Harvey agreed with a nod and obeying he came over and slipping the small key easily into the lock found it turned with just as much ease.

Re: Where is everything? (Dillon/Harvey)
Dillon grasped a small handle on the door and opened it slowly and carefully. She held her breath and looked inside. All she saw was a bunch of cloth. She pulled it out and looked at it carefully. It was a quidditch uniform. She looked at the label. 'Mabel Robinson'. Dillon frowned, her face etched into an expression of deep concentration. She looked back into the cupboard and saw a sparkling object. She pulled out that object at the back. It was a golden trophy. The inscription was pretty much blank. It was for some old quidditch tournament, but no winner was named. "I think- I think this is the trophy from the quidditch tournament in which we think Mabel... you know..."

"This is getting complex" Harvey commented as he picked the dragon statue up and tucking it under one arm, it may be as big as him but it was remarkably light, probally because it was hollow in side, and he was totally keeping it "I am keeping this - and do the robes have anything in the pockets?"

Re: Where is everything? (Dillon/Harvey)
Dillon looked through the robes and felt something that wasn't cloth. She pulled it out. It was a scrunched up piece of paper. "This just got interesting," Dillon grinned. "Well, even more interesting than it already is..." Dillon added before opening up the paper. On it was written the code of the chest that had been previously disintegrated. Underneath code, 'Bank Vault Key' was written. "Hmm... I think maybe that foul Maria wanted to rob Mabel and was willing to do anything she could to get hold of that cash..." Dillon looked upwards at a corner of the ceiling in brief contemplation. "Is it bad that I'm enjoying this so much?"

"Yes its bad, but we can be bad together" Harvey replied without thinking about how that sounded "So now all we need to work out is if her key is also hidden around here somewhere ... unless this key is a double key ... how spooky would that be ..."

Re: Where is everything? (Dillon/Harvey)
"Hmmm..." Dillon hesitated. "Somehow I have a feeling the key's long gone. That Maria girl probably empties the chest of its contents, i.e the key. Although... who knows... Things never quite go the way you expect them to in a mystery." she wandered around the small floor space of the storage room, looking around the room, her eyes moving vigorously from box to box, looking for leads. Her eyes lit up. "When I accidentally destroyed the chest, we only saw the snitch because it's big and shiny, but I know what thing that's small and... not golden. We should rummage through the ashes and see if there's a key!"

"Your a genius" Harvey exclaimed with an enthusiastic nod as he set about searching like she had suggested.

Re: Where is everything? (Dillon/Harvey)
Dillon dived down to join Harvey in his search. She scraped through the ashes but found nothing. All she did see was a small crack in the floorboard. "Oh damn..." she sighed. "I think I see something key-like down this crack!" she brushed the dust out of the way and peered down the crack. "Yep, that looks like a key." she sighed and sat up. "I don't know if there's any way of getting down there..."

"Well that is where this comes in handy" Harvey announced rummaging around in his bag and producing a small penny shaped object. He held it over the crack and seconds later there was a small clink. "for when a wand fails, a magic magnet prevails!" He tried to lift the magic magnet but it would not come up. It was then he realised the magnet had to be twisted until the key was the same way as the crack "well that was a lot more impressive in my head."

Dillon shook her head and laughed. "You could get it out if you carefully manoeuvred it. I don't know though... you could've just tried accio." she giggled. "But the magnet is always a bit more fun."

"Well the magnet would have been awesome ... if it had worked" Harvey replied as he stuck his tongue out the corner of his mouth in concentration, twisting the magnet around till he finally managed to work the key out "and voila!"
