[Clementine Smith]

Clementine remembered the last time she was here. And the time before that- her first time in a muggle site for a while.

The first time, she was bored. So very bored.

The second time, she had taken her bat out for the very first time in a public area. Sure, her and Shadow had a lot of looks but who really cared?

And now, the third time was a mixture of both. Clementine was almost always bored, but this time she had Shadow with her. She still recieved a lot of glances, but who really cared about them? Not Clementine, sitting on the bench she always sat on, stroking a furry black bat.

Lauren wandered through Central Park, decidedly bored. Alecto was relatively peaceful at the moment, her training had been completed an hour ago and she was on top of all her paper work. She studied each person in the crowd individually, measuring their potential danger. The whole area seemed clear- safe enough.

Raking a hand through her long dark hair, she played idly with her watch. Lauren

There.

A student- Smith, she believed, with her bat. Shaking her head tiredly, she approached the young girl. Students could be so reckless.

"Why are you drawing unnecessary attention to yourself?" Lauren asked, dark eyes hard and questioning as she gestured to the bat with a brief wave of the hand.

"Erm..." Clementine said faintly. This was both a teacher and head of house- not someone to cross. "I-I just... take hime out and... stuff..." her voice failed her.
