Darcie looked around at all of them and couldn't help saying, "You're all completely mad..." She then realized that she said it out loud. And blushed. Very deeply. "Oh! I- I- sorry! I didn't mean to say that out loud! You're all very nice! Really!"

Darcie looked at Clementine in a confused manner until she realized that "mad" in Ireland and "mad" in America were two very different things.

"Oh no! Not mad as in upset! I think mad here is known as crazy or strange. But still! I don't mean to offend anyone!"
